The Richmond / Adelaide Centre situated in the heart of downtown Toronto’s business and shopping district, has served tens of thousands of professionals, shoppers and tourists for many years as an eatery, shopping destination and gathering space. This extensive 40,000 sq. ft. space accommodates both retail and dining experiences and acts as a hub in the underground PATH network.
David Carter Architects worked closely with GH+A Interiors through design and permitting to renovate and refresh an existing foodcourt including upgrades and fit-outs to four new restaurants. An up to date, comfortable and functional space with a contemporary perspective as a result. Our efforts also included revisions to servery equipment layouts as well as lighting conditions and the general architectural quality of the space.
