Re-design of the existing unit to increase the number of patient isolettes with semi-private adjacent space for mother and child in an environment that addressed acoustic, lighting, and infection control issues that were sensitive to the newborn patients. Upgrading and enlarging an existing Procedure Room into a second Operating Room as well as modifications to the main OR to bring it to current infection control standards.
