Nissan Canada’s head office required a parking lot expansion. Acting as the Prime Consultant, David Carter Architects provided the Architectural Design required for this project, managing all architectural design, civil engineering, urban planning, landscape, survey and topographical reviews, and city permitting.
This project was an urban design challenge involving the need for more parking and while preserving the integrity of the mature landscaping on the site. Underground water tanks to capture storm water were incorporated. Clearly defined walking paths to building entrances and improved lighting for employee security were also important elements of the design.
