The Corner Cafe is a high traffic area in the main lobby at the front entrance of McMaster Children’s Hospital and provides service to a large volume of customers daily. The café had not had an update for at least 25 years and required a complete renovation to maintain the HHSVA’s professional retail image, to increase efficiency in customer service, and to meet the Hamilton Health board standards.
Redesign of the café included redesign of the café entrance, service counters, and cash area; a new gift display area; and new lighting, millwork, finishes, and flooring.
