Fanshawe College contracted David Carter Architects to provide IT Data Center consulting services to review requirements, help with needs assessment, and provide a report for an academic Data Center for the School of Information Technology. The Academic Data Center will facilitate the creation, storage, retrieval, backup, and delivery of data to support the operation of the College’s academic programs, research projects, data analytics functions and scenario planning.
Drawing on our depth of knowledge in current trend and established protocols in data center design and our extensive experience in post-secondary education facilities including teaching and research environments, we developed the design requirements and baseline design parameters for a leading- edge IT facility.
