Our Financial Services client required Electrical and Mechanical Engineering services to upgrade their existing emergency power and distribution systems supporting data centre operations. The project included diesel generator replacement, new silencers, and exhaust systems, UPS battery expansion, chiller pump replacement, a new cooling tower and a new high voltage transformer and transformer vault.
David Carter Architects developed the architectural design drawings and specifications to address building code and permit requirements associated with life and fire safety and to make the required alterations to the base building to deliver this $20M emergency power infrastructure upgrade project.
