Purepharm Pharmacy is a private company specialized in the compounding and distribution of pharmaceutical products for the healthcare sector. The company had outgrown its existing facilities and was looking to develop a new facility. As Prime Consultant, our work included design services from conceptualization through the design and construction phases.
Non-sterile compounding facilities were designed to comply with CSA and NAPRA requirements. Related medical clinic programs were organized to support the public face of the pharmacy and to anchor this program element. The alterations to the existing building bring natural light deep into the working spaces of the facility. Colour and material transparency are made use of to create a welcoming environment for public engagement. The new suite is approximately 12,000 sf.
